When the Headless Horseman turned up in the first episode he didn’t just kill the sheriff: he also killed police officer Andy Brooks. But now Andy is back! Reanimated by black magic, he sets about helping a witch who was burned at the stake many years before. She wants revenge on the descendants of the magistrate who ordered her death: and not only that, she wants to use the upcoming blood moon to resurrect herself, too.
Meanwhile, Abbie’s boss, Captain Frank Irving has allowed Abbie to work with Ichabod, despite his misgivings about this strange Englishman and his
odd habits. Ichabod is still adjusting to the modern world, but this doesn’t stop him from tracking down the witch and uncovering her plans (with the help of both his wife, imprisoned in Purgatory, and the notes left by Sheriff Corbin himself, who was investigating the strange events in Sleepy Hollow before his death).
Abbie and Ichabod defeat the witch by blowing her up… But the strange happenings aren’t over yet, because Abbie then has a vision of Sheriff Corbin. It seems Ichabod isn’t the only one being visited by people from the past…
