Abbie and Ichabod want to interrogate the captured Horseman, although this is a little tricky because he has no head, and therefore no mouth. And so Andy is brought in to speak for him – although he isn’t what you’d call trustworthy because, while he still wants to keep Abbie safe, he has no choice but to serve his master.
Meanwhile, the Hessians are working hard to free the Horseman and have stolen a tablet that can break the hex that’s keeping him in place-, the next logical step will be for them to interrupt the power so the UV lights go off. Frank and Jenny team up to try to stop them.
In the cell (which was built by Thomas Jefferson, of all people) we discover that the Horseman is actually Ichabod’s one-time best friend, Abraham, who was also engaged to Katrina in the past, and so the grudge between the two of them is more personal than anybody realized. As Ichabod struggles to cope with this news, Andy suddenly double-crosses them all and frees the Horseman… But he saves Ichabod’s life by telling him that Moloch doesn’t want him dead yet.
